| HYDRAULIC SWABBING |
|
In an effort to make swabbing services more versatile, Integrated Production Services designed and built a Hydraulic Swabbing unit. This innovative unit was designed with an eye toward safety, well control and efficiency.
|
The unique design allows a well to be swabbed down the existing flow line, with no tank or flare stack required. And, unlike conventional swabbing, the swab cups can de dropped against flow to allow continuous movement of the fluid to the surface. The result is faster unloading of the well, while allowing for continued sale of hydrocarbon production.

|
| Safety & Environmental |
| Designed for Safety: |
- No climbing during rig up
- Separate wench for handling lubricator
- Pressure containing line and pack off
- Swabbing to existing production equipment reduces
venting of flammable gas
- Adjustable pressure relief valve to limit line pull
- Depth-o-meter, weight indicator, and wellhead pressure gauge
on the operator's panel
- Operator position is behind the drum
|
| Designed for the Environment: |
- Line and pack off design leak less liquids
- Swabbing to the existing flow line reduces methane emissions
|
| Testing for Plunger Lift |
| Swab Testing down the existing flow line: |
- Enables flow rate measurement before, after, and during the
swab job
- Gives a more accurate evaluation of fluid entry under relative clean flow conditions
- Allows an evaluation of increased production potential
- Simulates a constant flow plunger (Pacemaker Plunger)
- Leads to more effective selection of artificial lift solutions
|
|
| Plunger installation with Swab Unit: |
- Run gauge rings and boaches to check tubing
- Set down hole stops and springs (BHA)
- Initiate plunger lift operation with the well in an unloaded condition
